Introducing Rama Manusama: member of the INS Indonesia Board

 

Rama is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in corporate innovation and investments. He is the founding and managing partner of Katalys Partners, a Jakarta based impact investor-operator with focus on agriculture value chain. He is passionate about developing and growing impact ecosystems through innovation and strategic partnerships, relentlessly looking for better way of doing things in any given situation.

His professional and entrepreneurial experience has been largely in the technology sector. He was one of the founding employees of MDI Ventures, Indonesia’s first SOE-owned corporate venture capital firm and one of the largest at that time. He then became digital transformation advisor for Pegadaian, one of the largest non-bank financial institutions in Indonesia. He also co-founded Agora, an education technology company serving B2B markets.

Rama was educated in Erasmus University Rotterdam, graduated with BSc in International Business Administration in 2008 and MSc in Finance & Investments in 2009. He is an Indonesian national and was born on May 2, 1986 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
